What can I store?
You can store almost anything. Things that you cannot store:
How long for?
You can store things for as little, or as long as you need.
Is it secure?
POD Self-Store is fitted with 24 hour digital CCTV and secure perimeter fencing. You can buy secure padlocks from our on-site shop or provide your own padlock for your unit and as such will be the only person with access to it.
When can I access my container?
You have access to your goods at anytime during opening hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7.30am-5.30pm
- Saturday: 8am-5pm (accompanied by staff)
- Sunday: 10am-4.30pm (accompanied by staff).
You can call us on 01361 885135 during opening hours to arrange an appointment to get access to your unit outside the above times and we’ll try where possible to arrange this.
How do I pay?
- Initial payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, or cash;
- Monthly payments can be set up as a standing order for your peace of mind.
What size is the container?

How many pallets can I store in a container?
The floor space size means you can usually fit in a total of 10 pallets.
Is there a minimum hire period?
Yes, only 1 month minimum though!
Will my goods be insured?
We find that most clients prefer to pay a competitive price for quality storage and then make their own insurance arrangements should they wish to.
What happens if I want to move out earlier than anticipated?
Not a problem, rental is paid only one month in advance.
